ABOUT 

Mara Vázquez is an Architect and Interior Designer with experience in residential and commercial design, specializing in high-end interiors and context-driven architectural solutions.

​

She began her academic career at the University of Puerto Rico, earning a degree in Environmental Design with a focus on designing for tropical climates. She later obtained her Master of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she developed a strong foundation in both technical execution and design innovation, along with an appreciation for historic architectural styles.

Mara has worked in Los Angeles, contributing to high-end residential and mid-century modern commercial projects. Her work focused on material selection, spatial planning, and delivering cohesive, client-centered design solutions.

In 2020, she relocated to Miami, where she expanded her expertise in luxury coastal residential design, with an emphasis on integrating natural light, materiality, and environmental context.

In 2023, Mara returned to Puerto Rico, bringing a diverse portfolio and multidisciplinary experience. She continues to develop projects that balance functionality, aesthetics, and site responsiveness, creating spaces that are both efficient and thoughtfully designed.
